JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

Provide front line safety and technical leadership. Ensuring and assuring safe effective and efficient execution of Civil & Structural activities in accordance with the project schedule and compliance to safety, quality and technical policies procedures and standards.

Qualifications

Diploma and discipline/trade specific vocational certification

Knowledge and/or Experience

* 8 years' experience with Large Projects in Construction-related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.

Technical and Business Skills

* IT literacy: Word, Excel, PDF, skills to support reporting, reviewing and communication requirements.

* Demonstrates sound written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to read and translate approved for construction drawings.

* Ability to use (Read) Navis works (3D model)

* Ability to prepare, approve and /or verify Instrument installation plans.

* Ability to work within document control systems reviewing, consolidating, and approving technical and project documents.

* Ability to read and translate primavera schedules.

* Ability to work within advanced work packing systems.

* Demonstrate extensive experience of civil and structural construction methods and ways of working preferably in a major LNG Project.

* Ability to translate civil and structural design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, specific to onshore LNG facilities and utility systems.

* Experience and familiarity with relevant civil and structural construction processes and relevant industry standards codes and guidance.
