Engineering Lead (Piping & Lay-out)

Job Purpose

 Responsible for piping and layout engineering activities for NFW off plot FEED

Project ensuring that all piping and layout activities comply with project requirements and specification through effective collaboration and management of engineering contractor and QatarEnergy LNG stakeholder to ensure on time project delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Knowledge and/or Experience

 8 years experience in Engineering roles, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, and including 1 year experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/sub- contractors/service/vendor personnel.

 Experience with Oil & Gas Companies, EPC contractors, sub- contractors, vendors or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry.

 Strong knowledge and application of international engineering standards, specifications and design.

 SME level competency in Piping and Layout discipline.  Experience with sour service gas and LNG facilities  Experience in berth design and Seabed dredging is an advantage.  Brownfield engineering and execution knowledge  Knowledge of the major 3D modelling software  Knowledge of piping material selection
